Need an Update?

If you already have a will, it is recommended that you review it every 2 to 5 years. Sometimes your wishes may not have changed, but the value of your assets and the law may have. As such it is very important to ensure that your will does exactly what you want it to do; that it protects your assets and investments; and most importantly that you have taken advantage of various areas of flexibility within the law of estate planning.

Since you last made a will if any of the following situations have occurred to you or any of the persons named as executors, trustees, guardians or beneficiaries it may be desirable, or essential to review your will.

If you are in any doubt as to the validity of your Will or if you would like to discuss any of the above points without any obligation and in complete confidence please contact Essex & Suffolk Wills Ltd.

FREE WILL CHECK SERVICE

If you have an existing will and would like to ensure that it still covers your needs, we will happily take a look and advise you accordingly.

It is essential to have your will checked if it is over 5 years old because laws have changed and it may contain clauses that would be within your best interest to be removed.

An Appointment

Our appointments are free and without obligation and we will visit you in the comfort of your own home. We have appointment times for daytime, evening and weekends aimed to fit any lifestyle.

Once you have booked your appointment we will send you our ‘Points to consider when writing your will’ leaflet.  This is aimed to get you thinking about what can go into your will.  It is fine if you do not get the time to read it because we will go over everything with you at our appointment.

At the appointment we will:

Within two weeks we will send you a draft will so that you can check it and make changes if you wish.

Once your will is to your satisfaction we will arrange an appointment for the signing of your will.

When your will is signed it will become a valid legal document but it can be updated as often as you would like.
